Kitchy Jewish Records!

Yesterday there was an explosion on the Jewish music scene.  First I found this story on WNYC’s Soundcheck that refers to the Holy Trinity as Barbara Streisand, Barry Manilow and Neil Diamond (second Manilow reference of the week).  They also call Boca Raton the place “where Jewish vinyl goes to die.”  Read the Souncheck blog, too.

The second story on Soundcheck is Erran Baron Cohen (yes, Sasha’s brother) talking about the Hanukkah album he put together.

Obvi, there was a Times article about the same book from the first Souncheck story.  Mom & Dad, I feel a Hanukkah present coming on!
