Veterans, Bus Drivers, Car Logos, Cliches and Library Bragging Rights

This article from today’s New York Times made me angry, but it’s important for everyone to know what some of our veterans must go through when they come back home, especially with the financial crisis.  Also, I think the photograph that ran with the article is fantastic; just look at that little girl’s face:

In other, less important news:

This story warmed my heart.

How old is the internet?

Car logo evolutions.

I know there are probably 8 billion versions of this article on the internet, but the BBC has 20 of your most hated cliches, with some funny British ones too.

You know how I always brag about where I’m from?  Well, here’s a good reason why: THIS is our kick-ass public library in Rockville, Maryland, and I guarantee you it’s far superior to your library.  (And how hip is the MoCo Library to have Flickr albums of every library in the system?)  Yeah, I know you’re jealous.
