Gangsta Shtick

If you’re a loyal Nerd reader, you already know that I love it when The New York Times reviews rap albums.  They’ve outdone themselves this week though, with a review of Lil Wayne’s new album/mixtape, Tha Carter III:

“The mixtapes are inconsistent, of course, and the songs fall back more often on the standard gangsta shtick that filled Lil Wayne’s older albums.”

Gangsta shtick.  I love it.

For a completely different vein of awesomeness, we will trek to the Upper East Side where an architect remodeled a phenomenal apartment and included clues to a giant puzzle for the family to solve.  This reminds me of a great children’s book by Graeme Base called The Eleventh Hour that I love.  How cool would it be to live in a house like that?

Apparently ladies have a much broader definition of who’s sexy.  Samantha Ronson is NOT on my spectrum (although, yes, Tori, I think LiLo might be).

Facebook is becoming even more Orwellian!

People on the Hill have a walk-off and the Republicans are beating the Democrats.

Woohoo!  We’re living longer!
