I’m a little delayed in my newspaper reading this week because of lots of driving back and forth to North Jersey, where I get to see the rear-end of the Statue of Liberty. Every time I see Lady Liberty, I smile, because I’m pretty sure that’s who my grandparents and great-grandparents saw when they finally made it to America.
