Finals Week Review
Even though it’s finals time, I still read the newspaper. I just don’t post on the blog, to give myself the illusion that I am not procrastinating by reading non-exam materials…
The All-Natural Taste That Wasn’t (Pinkberry *gasp* isn’t healthy!) last Wednesday’s Food section
You’re an Author? Me Too! (more people are writing than reading) Sunday’s Book section
Yup, Things Were Different Before Clinton-Obama (a lot has happened in 18 months) Monday’s A section
Shh! In British Library Reading Rooms, Flirting and Even Giggling (undergrads are obnoxious in London) Monday’s A section
Reprise: The Fifth Avenue Ballad of Pale Male and Lola (NYC’s redtailed hawks can’t have babies!) Thursday’s Metro section
Door Keeper On 79th St. Keeps Stories of Queens (doorman writes history books at night, Dad you’ll LOVE this one) Thursday’s Metro section
Status: Looking for Work on Facebook (title pretty much says it all) ThursdayStyles
Is This The World’s Cheapest Dress? (yes, Steve & Barry’s is awesome) ThursdayStyles
Hard Times for the Economy, But Your Lips Look Great (women are more apt to buy lipstick when the economy is rough) ThursdayStyles

c’mon! How could everyone be fooled that the Pinkberry was truly all-natural? btw, I’ve never tried it, but I wouldn’t be surprised if almost all branches of the chain store shut down… so I guess I never will!

Yumster! If you haven’t had Pinkberry you are not allowed to dis it. It is amazingly delicious and actually tastes like real yogurt, so I wouldn’t be surprised if people believed it was natural.
Steve & Barry’s is a national chain. There are more in this neck of the woods, but I believe there is one in downtown Silver Spring. Here’s their website: http://www.steveandbarrys.com/
